181103-Apsan Park, Daegu

Apsan Park, located in Daegu. We took a KTX train (40K+ won per ticket) to Dong Daegu, took a taxi  paid 10200won to get here) Paid another 9500 won ropeway fees to reach to mountain for this view.
When the ropeway reach its station on mountain top, we mistaken Sopra Observatory as Apsan Observatory. After that we realised we need do climb a little to reach the other side for Apsan Observatory.

Both observatory were nice to view the landscape.

This eatery is located a Sopra Observatory. Dine with good view and food is great.

Actually there are 3 mountains here. So watch where you are going.
After Apsan Park, we managed to take a taxi to Jungangno Subway station in Daegu for shopping and Topokki. We ate at this shop when we find them not too crowded. The service is really slow and lucky, the food and topokki was good. Very spicy but you would never want to stop.
Daegu shopping town is really very crowded. More crowded than in Seoul. Decided to proceed to another place since we do not have much to shop and the crowd is really too much for us.
Took a subway to Seomun Market. This market is famous for its night market. But we will not be staying over night, so just see look see look. When we reached there, there are some protest at the market entrance. So was not able to take a proper picture. There is a lane in this market selling traditional herbs. I am so shock to see birds handing at their stalls. A closer look, you can see they have actually removed the internal organs etc except its feathers. A search  in the internet said these are peasant birds.
As usual with all traditional markets in Korea, you will see stalls selling dried fish and rice. I like the artwork of this rices stall.
Came across this porridge staff just under the bridge to the subway station. Decided to try out. Unlike other franchise in Seoul, the porridge was a disappointment. Lucky the dumplings was delicious.

We decided to take a express bus back from Dong Daegu. An extra hour from KTX travel time.
Overall, Apsan park has no autumn leave for viewing when we were there. But still it is quite nice being there.
It cost quite alot to travel here from Seoul by KTX trains. So if we want to rise early and come back late, it is still workable via express bus.

How to get there by Seoul
Take a KTX train or express bus to Dong Daegu
Via express bus, take an express bus from Dong Seoul to Dong Daegu.

From Dong Deagu station to Apsan park Ropeway station.
If we take a bus, it will take us 1 hour journey.
We took a taxi, so it took us only 25mins.
We paid 10200 won taxi fare to Apsan park.
